About
I turn raw data into actionable insights and interactive tools. My work sits at the crossroads of GIS, Data Science and Web Development — collecting, processing, analyzing and visualizing spatial information to support decision-making.
I build applications and databases using Python/Django, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, React and modern mapping libraries like Leaflet and OpenLayers. I process satellite imagery from Copernicus and other Earth observation platforms. I create dashboards, interactive maps and data visualizations that make complex territorial information accessible and useful.
My journey started in 2008 as a research assistant after my engineering degree in environmental studies. Following my first MSc, I contributed to environmental compliance initiatives for Rio Tinto mining operations. I then earned my Advanced MSc in GISciences from AgroParisTech, where I worked on interesting mapping projects with international research institutes (IRD, CIRAD) in South of France.
Since 2019, I have been working as a freelance GIS specialist, navigating between two worlds: continuously learning new skills and delivering quality work to clients. I am an active member of the Esri Training community and DataCamp, and regularly take courses on Coursera and other platforms to stay sharp.
My philosophy is simple: I may not know everything, but I am 100% sure what question to ask and where to find the answer to solve the problem. When I set my mind on something, I learn it and I do it — no limits when passion drives. I have chosen to focus my work around everything data: spatial, digital and web.
Outside of work, I maintain a strong fitness routine with 3 to 5 sessions per week — CrossFit, Hyrox training, RPM, Bodypump, and occasionally boxing and swimming. Thank you for visiting my profile. If you are interested in cooperation or in any way I could help, please feel free to contact me.
